This event is held on the fourth Sunday in March and and marks the day when maple syrup producers across the state open the doors of their sugarhouses and give the public the opportunity to join in the fun of making the sweet stuff. Most producers participate and offer free tastings, live demonstrations, activities such as sleigh rides and treats such as ice cream.
